Who we are

This website is operated by Eleni Partsalidis, Sales Representative, and George Partsalidis, Sales Representative, of Right at Home Realty, Brokerage. All real estate trading services described on this site are provided through the brokerage.

Personal information we collect

• Contact form submissions: your name, email address, telephone number and the content of your message.
• Property enquiries: the properties, neighbourhoods, price ranges, timelines and preferences you tell us about.
• Client and VOW accounts: your name, email address, optional telephone number, email-verification status, saved homes, saved searches, account status and a record of the exact VOW terms you accept.
• Newsletter and resource downloads: your name and email address, and the resources you request.
• Technical data: information produced by normal web hosting and security logs, such as IP address, browser and device type, requested pages and referring pages.
• Approximate map location: when you open an unfiltered listing map, we may use your IP address through an IP-location service to select a nearby service city. This is city-level and does not request your device’s precise location. We cache a keyed hash rather than the raw IP address with the approximate result for up to 30 days.
• Listing activity: listing searches and property views needed for IDX security, abuse prevention and compliance. Our application stores a keyed hash instead of the raw IP address in this IDX activity record.
• Signed-in VOW activity: searches and property views associated with your verified account where required to provide the service, secure licensed listing information and maintain the access records required by our data agreement.
• Recently viewed listings: your browser can keep up to 12 recent Omega listings on your device for 30 days. If you are signed in, you may separately choose to synchronize up to 25 recent listings with your client account. Account- synchronized activity is visible to authorized Omega administrators so they can assist with your property search. You can clear it or disable synchronization at any time; disabling synchronization deletes the account-side list.
• Enquiry source: when you submit a form, we may record the page where you started and submitted, the referring page, and standard campaign labels included in the link (such as source, medium and campaign). We do not use this information to fingerprint you or follow you across other websites.
• Website activity: Follow Up Boss may record visits and pages or properties viewed on this website. Activity can be associated with your CRM contact after you submit your email address on this site or follow a website link sent through Follow Up Boss. The Pixel does not create a new contact from our forms; our existing secure lead-delivery system does that.

Why we collect it

We collect personal information to respond to your enquiries, to provide real estate services (including showings, listing preparation, valuations, negotiations and closing support), to operate secure client and VOW accounts, to remember homes and searches you choose to save, to send information you have asked for, to improve this website, and to meet record-keeping and disclosure obligations imposed on the brokerage and its Sales Representatives.

Consent and legal basis

We handle personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Ontario law. We collect, use and disclose personal information with your knowledge and consent, except where the law permits or requires otherwise.

Commercial electronic messages are sent in compliance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). We send marketing email only where you have given express or implied consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time. Every marketing email includes a working unsubscribe link and our mailing address, and unsubscribe requests are honoured promptly. Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect service-related messages relating to an active transaction.

Who we may share information with

We may share personal information with Right at Home Realty, Brokerage, and with service providers that operate on our behalf — including website hosting, database, form delivery, customer relationship management and website analytics providers, including Follow Up Boss. Where a transaction requires it, information may be shared with lawyers, lenders, inspectors, other brokerages and real estate boards.

For a VOW account, your registration details and an audit trail of signed-in activity may also be disclosed to PropTx, the applicable real estate association, or their duly authorized representatives where required to investigate security, audit compliance or verify the display of MLS® Listing Information.

We do not sell personal information. Service providers are permitted to use information only to perform services for us, and may process or store data outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction.

Retention

Personal information is retained only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, or as required by the Trust in Real Estate Services Act, 2002 (TRESA), its regulations, and other applicable law. Transaction records are typically retained by the brokerage for the statutory retention period, after which information is securely destroyed or anonymized.

VOW registration and credential-validity records are retained for at least 180 days after the Consumer’s VOW access credential expires, as required by the applicable MLS® Rules. Security and compliance records may be kept longer where reasonably necessary for an investigation or legal obligation.

Security

We use reasonable physical, organizational and technical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information — including encrypted (HTTPS) transmission, access controls limiting information to those who need it, reputable hosting and storage providers, and secure disposal practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your right to access and correct

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask that it be corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete, or ask that it be deleted where we are not required to retain it. Send your request to yoursweethomesold@yahoo.com. We may ask you to verify your identity, and we will respond within the timelines required by PIPEDA (generally 30 days).

Cookies and local storage

This site uses cookies or similar browser storage for secure owner sign-in, interface preferences, remembering the first page and campaign labels for an enquiry during the current browser session, keeping your recently viewed Omega listings for up to 30 days, and understanding website activity. Device-only recent listings are not visible to Omega.

The Follow Up Boss Pixel helps us understand visits and property interests associated with known leads. It is not used to create leads from website forms, and its automatic form-capture feature is disabled. The site does not load the Pixel when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal. You may also clear or block browser storage, although doing so may affect signed-in, preference-based or source-attribution features.

Third-party links

This site may link to third-party websites, including MLS® and IDX search tools, mortgage calculators and municipal resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites; please review their own privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Revisions are posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and material changes will be identified. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
